Founded by Remi Thomas, FNP-C, Board-Certified in Family Medicine, St. Mary’s was created to redefine what patients should expect from modern healthcare. After years of seeing rushed appointments, fragmented care, and patients feeling unheard, Remi set out to build something rare—an independent clinic where excellence, compassion, affordability, and outcomes all exist under one roof.
A Career Built on Excellence
Remi’s medical journey began in some of the most demanding clinical environments in Texas. She served at Baylor University Medical Center in the Intensive Care Unit, caring for critically ill patients where precision, rapid decision-making, and high standards were non-negotiable. She later continued advanced ICU care at Medical City Healthcare, further strengthening her expertise in complex medicine and patient advocacy.
Her experience extends beyond bedside medicine. Remi has served on healthcare boards focused on improving patient safety, held leadership roles centered on operational excellence, educated graduate-level students, and delivered corporate lectures on health and wellness.
